Alessia Angelotti is a photographer who studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. She discovered photography during her university studies, and began working as a photographer in 2015. Her passion for art, her deep love of culture, and the art of storytelling through images have led her to develop a profoundly honest and human photographic style, prioritizing intimacy and empathy with her subjects. Her choice to work on weddings has allowed her to explore themes dear to her, such as collective memory, family across generations, and ritual.
In her work, photography presents itself as a form of visual listening, in which each image arises from an attentive presence and a sensitivity that inhabits the emotional space of the event.
